This is going to be MY review of the Motorola Cliq, Keep in mind, it may have been different for someone else. This is simply my opinion. On 2/28/2010 I decided to finally upgrade from my Blackberry to something else. I was looking for something that was touch screen and that was useful for me, network wise. I talked to a T-Mobile representative on the phone and he said if I was into social networking the Motorola CLIQ would be my best option. It is very important to me to stay connected to a lot of the people I network with while I'm out & about, not necessarily by the computer. Doing what I do, it's very hard to just sit by the computer all day, so Twitter, MySpace, Facebook was a mobile need of mine. He said since that's what I needed I might as well get the CLIQ. So, I did. The first day was nice. I customized it & spent hours adding contacts. It has a lot of very good apps with it already, but it also has a 'Market' where you can go and purchase anything else that you might need. You have YouTube one click away, literally. and that's something I really liked.
Watch my YouTube Video Review to see how it actually works.

Now, in the video I mentioned that the guy who actually sold me the phone at the T-Mobile store, NOT the guy I talked to on the phone, warned me about the battery life & his brother's experience with it. He suggested I tried it for 14 days, if I liked it, I kept it; if I didn't, I could easily go back to the T-Mobile store and exchange it for something else....
It's been a week since I got it & I've decided I'm going to exchange it for the T-Mobile MyTouch. Everything the guy told me at the T-Mobile store was true. The battery life isn't that great. It seemed like I had to carry my charger everywhere with me, just in case it died. The keyboard was good, except for the space key, which is about half the size of the blackberry one (ok, maybe I'm exaggerating). Another thing I didn't like was that, it took too long to switch from one screen to another, & at times if you closed the keyboard it wouldn't flip to the original screen, it stayed as if the keyboard were still open, & that annoyed me.
I've read reviews on the MyTouch & it sounds pretty good. So I'm going to give that a try. I will be writing & recording a review for it, just so my followers can see the before & after, I guess you can say.
I hope this helped some of you, if you're torn in between two phones. AGAIN, this is only MY opinion. It may have been a different experience to someone else, so don't only go by my word if someone else told you it was good. It just really depends on your liking :]
